• This picture shows a street in a city with great collapse of infrastructure that was probably cause by a nature disaster.
• From the picture, we can conclude that the nature disaster was really a serious one as many of the buildings are destroyed and many of the people living in that particular region or area became homeless.
• At the foreground of the picture, there is a woman with dark long sleeves jacket holding on a child with red long sleeved clothing tightly. In my opinion, they are probably mother-children related.
• From the sad and helpless expression of the woman, I can therefore conclude that the nature disaster had cause her to lost something that is very precious to her, example may be her family, relatives or even her house.
• There a hand in the photograph just beside the woman. This lead me to think that it is someone who tried to comfort the woman to get over the miserably and start a new life afresh.
• Upon seeing the picture, I seriously hope that the sanitation of the place can improved as the place is overcrowded with victim of the nature disaster and overcrowding with poor sanitation could easily result in a spread of disease that may cause more death.
• Furthermore, I think that more and more people should help the victim of the earthquake as much as they could as from the picture, we can feel the hardship they were going throught after the nature disaster.
• Therefore in conclusion, I tend to think that althought this is just a small picture, but it shows a lot of things and it definetely fit the phrase,"a picture show a thousand words".
