This picture depicts a scene of Gorillas on the edge of being slaughtered.
I suspect their deaths are advantaged to these villagers. Gorilla's meat
could be used as food and their paws and feets could be sold.
From the background environment and the clothes the villagers wear, I
could tell that they come from a very poor and impoverished society. That
may explain the reason why they are doing this.

Judging from the facial expression of foreground gorilla, I could tell that they
have been shot dead already. If they are still alive, they would have struggle
and easily break the wooden poles used to support them.

These villagers could only stand a distance away from the animal as they were
afraid that it would harm them. Other villagers who had nothing to do with the
killing sat further away, looking at the situation and could do nothing to help
these animals. They were vulnerable and defenseless.
I personally feel that this mission is not noble at all. These are living animals that
try to survive and thrive every day in this world. They have no defenses against
our weapons and try to avoid us anyway. I really feel sorry for how much of a
small person they are to have to kill an animal in unfair conditions. Any person
who can do this to something not advanced as our selfs are cowards be
