This picture illustrates the scene of a flood. The flood is not likely to be cause by a tsunami as the location is not near a sea. It was probably cause by a heavy rainfall or cause by a nearby river. It could also be that the drainage system here is not well maintained. From the picture we can see that flood can also a lot of inconvenience to the people living there.

From the picture, there is a man carrying a child. Looking at the uniform the man is wearing, I think he is from the rescue team and he is taking the child away to a safe spot. The man seems quite relieved that the child is safe and sound. I think he had done a good deed, trying to save people from the flood.

Behind the man, I can see that there are people coming out from the house. A man who is probably also the rescuer is guiding the two people down the stairs. The couple might be the parents of the small child the previous rescuer is carrying.

I think we are very lucky to be in Singapore whereby we have not face natural disaster such as flood. Since in Singapore we have a good drainage system, thus cases such as flood are not commonly seen. We should also thank our government for providing us a safe and conducive environment to live in. However, we still have to know the basic knowledge of what we should do or how to handle when we faced a disaster.

I also think that everyone should help one another when we face trouble, regardless of who the person is. Like in the picture the man is trying to save a child who probably someone he do not know.

The future is unseen.We should treasure what we have now.
